The first thing to avoid when you are renting or using a rental car is choosing an option to prepay your fuel expenses. Prepaying your fuel expense means that you will have a nice ride with fully filled tank which costs you more dollars. If you’re not sure whether you will be using all of those gas or not, you better not choose the prepay gas fee option because you will ended up wasting money for gas. Your journey is probably not going to need a full tank car, instead you can fill your rented car with reasonable amount up when you leave your pick up point and fill it again in the way to the drop off point with a reasonable amount as well so you would not waste dollars on gas.
Then you have to avoid inspecting your car in a hurry before leaving the pickup point and before the representative of the company leave you. The importances of this inspection is none other than to know whether or not there is / are some signs of unnoticed damage or potentially damaged parts of the car. Most of us perhaps just walk and look slightly to the car instead of searching thoroughly because of the rush, but when you didn’t notice any damage when you leave the pickup point, the damage will be your responsible.
